SG-1 and SG:A (propably upcoming movies..)

CURRENT STATUS: While MGM has not yet officially put the third Stargate SG-1 movie into production, pieces are falling into place. Brad Wright and Carl Binder have written the script, and former cast members including Christopher Judge, Michael Shanks, and Amanda Tapping have stated in interviews that they expect to be back.

ATM Release date is undetermined, currently awaiting go-ahead from the studio. ;(

CURRENT STATUS: The script for the Stargate Atlantis movie has been written. Executive producers Paul Mullie and Joseph Mallozzi wrote the film and would produce. The movie has been on hold since 2009 primarily due to MGM's financial straits, with the studio going through bankruptcy restructuring at the end of 2010. The softening of the DVD / home video market has also been cited as a factor.

SPOILER:

It picks up right where the series left off, with the city of Atlantis having landed (cloaked) on Earth ("Enemy At the Gate").

If it does get made, the Atlantis movie may air first on Syfy Channel in the United States, and then be released on DVD and Blu-ray by MGM

It is too currently awaiting a green light from the studio.
